The Longevity Of Your Denture Is Up To You.
As a patient you have options of tooth hardness. A harder tooth will last longer as the hardness of the tooth determines how long the oral appliance will last. Tooth hardness impacts the chewing power of your denture. A softer denture tooth could be 30 chews or more to finish a bite of food, versus a harder denture tooth could be up to 9-20 chews. We always recommend a harder denture tooth for longevity purposes.
